About Me

Hello! I’m Eurus, and welcome to my personal blog where I’ll write (and sometimes narrate) things that I learn and experience. Professionally, I’m a Data Scientist, and my superpower is debugging - I’ve grown to love it especially after being a TA for coding coursework for 3 out of 4 semesters at my grad school.

In personal settings, people’s perceptions of me differ based on our level of interaction. All of my (extrovert) friends first think I’m an introvert - the same old story where an introvert gets adopted by an extrovert as their friend. With time, they get a taste of my talkative side. I assume my mom thinks I’m reckless and a rebel. My manager thinks I’m confident, resourceful, ambitious, … (well, a true slytherin). A friend of a friend thinks I’m intimidating (hearsay :P). When I look into the mirror, I see someone in her 20-something but an old soul - someone who thrives under pressure, and becoming more willing to embrace challenges that come in life.

• I speak தமிழ் and English.
• I like to listen to sad songs when I am happy, and vice versa.
• Yes, Hogwarts house sorting quiz put me in Slytherin. TBH, I gamed it. Ain’t that making me worthy of it?
• I create a new Spotify playlist almost every month (naming it <month>'<year>). Some of it are overwhelmingly TS, but I think TS won’t be my top artist in 2025.
• My phone is always in silent mode. My mom hates that. I hate it only when I misplace my phone.
• My perspective towards cooking change time to time. Sometimes I love it. Sometimes I don’t.
• I shamelessly cry (sometimes bawl in private) over movies and books with touching stories.
